Our Brand Story

We’re based in Huntington Beach, California, and grew up as a beach-loving, surfer family. Between beach days, picnics, camping, kids, and dogs, we tried countless picnic and beach blankets over the years.

Most didn’t last.

After just a few washes, the plastic or laminated bottom layers would crack, peel, or rip. Once that happened, they were done — and ended up in the gray trash can.

We wanted something better.

So we designed a mat made from sturdy, single-layer coated canvas — no bonded bottom layers, no plastic sheets to fail, and no over-designed padding. A mat you can wash again and again, that actually gets softer over time, and is meant to be reused instead of replaced.

Clean, minimalist, and practical — designed for real beach life, real families, and real use.
